Green Meadows Golf Course
Volant, Pa.
Celebrating our 22nd Year

It was another fantastic
day for golf....
Another sell out for the KIELBASA. The day was perfect for golf and
the players were ready to take on the challenge of Green Meadows very tricky
greens. Every year 100 players come to the course and dream of taking home the
coveted prize of the KIELBASA OPEN.
This outing started 19 years ago with only 8 men and has grown to 100 players
with many more being turned away. Each year Bill starts preparing the menu about two months a head of
time. This year we had a 16oz t bone and potatoes with corn on the
cob dipped in
butter for dinner. For lunch there is always beef stick and delicious kielbasa or dogs
smothered in sauerkraut. Breakfast had muffins the size of small pumpkins and all kinds of
breakfast treats and fruits.

R.
Rutkowski, this years winner, shot a fantastic round of 77. He
had to be on every part of his game today. The greens were as fast as ever and
the pin placements were not for the hacker. Congratulations.
WITH THE MODEST ENTRY FEE AND HUNDREDS OF PRIZES,
THIS DAY IS EVERY GOLFERS DREAM.
