2009
For the second straight year Mark Keyser wins in sudden death! At
the end of 18 holes, Mark and A. Mucurak were tied at 75 forcing the
playoff at Castle Hills. Mark is getting pretty good at handling the
pressure of sudden death. I know that I don't want to face him in a playoff!
Congratulations again Mark!
2008
After
being tied at the end of regulation,
Mark Keyser defeats Dan Krill on the first playoff hole to capture the title
for 2008.
Mark hit a beautiful tee shot down the middle under pressure of the gallery
to start the playoff and made a par to clinch the trophy. Congratulations
Mark!
2007
Dan
Krill takes the title two years in a row
for his 3rd career Kielbasa win.
Dan has set his sights on being the Hot Dog or I mean the King Kielbasa in
golf. It wasn't easy though, Dan won by only one stroke with 2 tied for
second. Congratulations Dan!

2006
Dan Krill
waited all year for this chance to get the trophy back. After having the worst round of his life at the
Kielbasa in 2005, he captures the title once more. Dan ran away with the
title with an amazing one over, 73.
2005
Tom Grogan is back. Tom shot a fantastic round to capture his second title
in 3 years. After losing to
Dan Krill last year, Tom came back strong and took home the trophy once
more.
2004
Dan Krill has been driving up from Virginia for years to try and capture the
elusive title. He finally has done it with a fantastic round at Castle
Hills.
2003
Tom Grogan pulled off a stunning playoff putt to capture his first title at
the Kielbasa. Tom and Ed Selzer were tied at 78, which took them to the
putting green to determine the winner. Congratulations Tom.
2002
Barry Chase captured his second Kielbasa title this year. Barry is the son of Phil
who won the title in 1999. I guess like father like son applies here. Phil
his father says that Barry is a chip off the old block and will win many
more titles in the future.
2001
R. Rutkowski, this years winner, shot a fantastic round of 77. He had to be on every part of his game today. The greens were as fast as ever and the pin placements were not for the hacker. Congratulations. More>>
2000
Ed Selzer from Neville Island was this years winner. Ed is the Tiger Woods of the Kielbasa, he has captured the title 5
times. Ed was considering charging rent at his home for the trophy since it
was always on his trophy case.
1999
A
proud Phil Chase captured the title this year at Castle Hills. Phil shot a
very impressive 76 on a course that had the pins at difficult positions.
Phil is the most elderly winner of the Kielbasa to this date.
